Introduction

This project is called 'Wig Wonderland' where we will learn the basics of how a wig is made, how to style one. The aim of this project is to explore thoroughly different cultures and periods and choose one which we will the base our design around. And then go on to create a simple, moderate and extreme design. I am excited to start my research for this project as hair has a lot more to it than just a part of your body, it can mean and symbolise different things in different cultures and/or a way of person expressing their individuality. I am also looking forward to the practical side and learning the skills on how to create a wig as these will be incredibly useful in my future career.
